*Condition and History. A friend of mine here in Derby who has a body shop / restoration shop bought this car in 2001 when the car had light body damage and it had a clean title. The car had superficial damage only with no frame or suspension damage.  The front and rear bumpers, headlight bar and right quarter panel were replaced with new GM parts and the car was refinished back to its original color.  The LT1 engine also had a head gasket problem (which I am told is common), so the car has had a complete upper end rebuild on the engine.  The car was kept in storage with no insurance, so when the title was brought up to date, the car was branded as "Rebuilt Salvage".  This does not cause any problem with titling or insuring in the state of Kansas or most states that I am aware of but you may want to check with your state's Motor Vehicle Department.
